Previously she served as senior physician of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Central Hospital for the Military Armed Forces in Koblenz and at a prestigious clinic for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Bergisch Gladbach.

Each year she participates in surgical missions at Ayder Referral Hospital in Mekelle to provide free reconstructive surgery for children.
